Online gambling is not capable of being regulated.

Fact:

“This is not true. Online gambling is successfully regulated in many parts of the world, so it can obviously be regulated in the United States. The countries which permit and regulate online gambling include: the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Antigua, and, interestingly, even the United States itself. The State of Nevada permits and regulates online sportsbooks for Nevada residents and visitors. The State of Nevada is also in the process of issuing regulations for other forms of remote gambling.

United Kingdom. The Gambling Act 2005 (United Kingdom) replaces most of the existing law about gambling in the UK and puts in place an improved, more comprehensive structure of gambling regulation. This includes a new structure of flexible protections for children and vulnerable adults and, in particular, brings the burgeoning Internet gaming sector within British regulation for the first time. It creates a new independent regulatory body, the Gambling Commission, which will be the new, tough national regulator for commercial gambling in Great Britain.
